Every year Pathways celebrates the day of sharing, in which all of us come together to thank the people who take care of us in school all year around. And this year was even more special because it was my last day of sharing with Pathways.
It has always been a very delightful experience for me to be able to give back to the community and particularly on the day of sharing it gives me so much joy to serve the ones who are always there for us. Seeing the smiles on their faces when they perform and the amount of dedication they’ve put in for that one day is simply amazing. The day of sharing does have a very big impact on the students as it teaches us to work together, appreciate all the little efforts and most of all gives us the opportunity to serve so many people, which in itself is something we do not get to do everyday.
For me it is the smallest things that count to bring a bigger change and day of sharing is one such initiative which proves that it’s not always necessary to do something out of your way to bring a change, it’s the smallest gestures that count.
